My name is Em Fripp.
Residing in the UK at 34 years of age, I decided to take the plunge into the world wide web. (I live in a village... technology don't come easy!).
I have been painting all of my life, and despite having two slightly mundane 'proper' part time jobs, it is the art that fires my passion.
Most of my skill is self taught, although I have an A level and GNVQ Advanced level 3 in Art and Design, I achieved those as the typical grumpy teen.
Since then I have been honing my skills and delved into the world of portraiture and caricature with zeal.
What sets me apart from many artists is the large variety of styles that I work in, and the variety of subjects. I have been known to say that when I paint, anything is fair game... apart from flowers. I don't like painting flowers :)
