Those two hundred years bubbled between war; truce; peace; friendship; commerce; distrust and back into war once more. In recent years, however, another truce has held fast, a truce borne from the unwillingness of either party to admit defeat and embrace peace as the ‘losing’ side. But for some, peace is not a desired outcome.
